The Canadian Home Builders Association is recognized coast to coast as the voice of the residential construction industry. Our members make up a cross section of representatives from developers, builders, renovators, suppliers and other industries supported by construction activities.
Our members are committed to providing quality services and products to the consumer. The “Canadian Home Builders Association”, from the local to national level is committed to providing the tools and training that make it possible for our members to be the top in their fields, both technically and professionally. Through hard work and dedication we strive to maintain the open and purposeful relationships we have with all levels of government and to advocate on behalf of our members and homeowners alike. Our representatives work tirelessly to reduce the end costs to the consumer through government imposed costs and charges. We also believe that all Canadians have the right to safe, quality built housing.
The recent global recession has brought forth challenges that we all must face. Now is the time to show that through commitment and dedication to our customers and this industry, we can weather this economic hurdle and come out the other side stronger for having endured some hardships. Now is the time to show our community how the professional members of the CHBA are truly the voice of the residential construction industry and the clear choice of the informed general public for connecting with committed construction professionals.
It is my goal as president of the CHBA-Central Vancouver Island to assist in steering this association forward and navigating, in an educated and thoughtful manner the obstacles that present themselves to our customers, our members and our community.
